Eleanor Tucker
Author, Journalist, Speaker, Event Host and Consultant

Hello, I’m Eleanor, or usually Elle. I’m an author and writer of many sorts. As a journalist, I’ve written about travel, parenting, feminism, health & beauty, society, sustainability, lifestyle and tech, for media outlets such as The Guardian, The Observer, The Telegraph, The ipaper, Grazia, Red, Marie Claire, Psychologies and many more. I’ve also worked for Channel 4 and the BBC.
As a copywriter and advertising creative, I worked both in-house and freelance for award-winning marketing agencies creating campaigns for travel, financial services, FMCG, public sector, utilities, you name it. I’ve also written film scripts, restaurant reviews, poetry… even songs (although I don’t do the musical part). You could say I’ve pretty much written everything and anything, and it's my favourite thing to do.
My debut book, a narrative non-fiction called THANKS FOR SHARING, was published by Quarto in April 2023. My first novel, TURN BACK TIME, will be published by Hera Books in April 2026, followed by my next novel, THREE DAYS in 2027. You can also expect news soon on two TV series, one of which I am co-writing. And as part of the author community I host book talks, and you’ll hear me on podcasts and speaking at events.

My consultancy work draws on my background in advertising and the media. I advise and mentor purpose-led companies on brand, strategy and storytelling – helping them define what they stand for and how to share it.
And finally, a little bit about me. I am originally from Oxford, and I now live in Edinburgh (where I went to university) with my husband and two teenage children. I think 'surf and turf' and fireworks are over-rated but love pine nuts (to eat), guinea pigs (not to eat) and Frasier.
