Eleanor Tucker Sharing Economy Consultant and Advisor

Hello, I’m Eleanor, or usually Elle. I’m an author and writer of many sorts.

As a journalist, I’ve written about travel, parenting, health and beauty, society, sustainability, lifestyle and tech, for media outlets such as The Guardian, The Observer, The Telegraph, The ipaper, Grazia, Red, Marie Claire, Psychologies and many more. I’ve also worked for Channel 4 and the BBC. And as a copywriter and advertising creative, I worked both in-house and freelance for award-winning marketing agencies for over a decade.

I’ve written scripts, and studied screenwriting at Edinburgh University, I've done restaurant reviews, poetry… even song lyrics (although I don’t handle the musical part). You could say I’ve pretty much written everything and anything, and it's my favourite thing to do.

My debut book, a narrative non-fiction called THANKS FOR SHARING, was published by Quarto in April 2023. My first novel, TURN BACK TIME, will be published by Hera Books in April 2026, followed by my next novel, THREE DAYS in 2027. Hera is part of the award-winning Canelo publishing group, known for bestselling commercial fiction, and owned by DK – a global publisher within Penguin Random House.

As part of the author community, I host events and book talks, and you’ll hear me on podcasts and speaking at festivals and book clubs.

And finally, a little bit about me. I'm originally from Oxford, and I now live in Edinburgh (where I went to university) with my husband and two teenage children. I think 'surf and turf' and fireworks are over-rated but love pine nuts (to eat), guinea pigs (not to eat) and Frasier.
