Speaking at the Edinburgh Women's Fiction Festival

Last week I was part of the lineup at the 2026 Edinburgh Women's Fiction Festival, on a panel with Rachel Wood, author of Annie Knows Everything and owner of Rare Birds Books, Edinburgh's only bookshop dedicated entirely to women's writing.

We talked about our debut novels and our paths to publication with our chair Emma MacKenzie to an engaged and enthusiastic audience.

It was a fantastic day, with fascinating panels from, amongsy others, Sally Page, Claire Daverley, Niamh Hargan, Oyinkan Braithwaite and Leodora Darlington. A big thank you to The Edinburgh Bookshop and all the event organisers for creating such a joyful and inclusive event, and to everyone who came along in spite of the stormy weather.
